MARIA CASTANYER

Maria Castanyer i Sardà, graduated in Biology and Genomic Bioinformatics from UPF (Barcelona), she is a professor with experience in the field of natural sciences, mathematics, computer science and technology. Currently, she is the director of the Maçanet de la Selva High School, a public educational center that is especially complex for the diversity of students and the unfavorable socio-economic context.

Kyriaki Yiakoupi

Kyriaki holds a BA Hons Interior Design from the University of Wolverhampton, UK (School of Art and Design) and a Ma in Conservation studies - Historic Buildings from the University of York, UK (Department of Archaeology). Currently, she works as a Researcher and Project Manager at CARDET. Finally, Ms. Yiakoupi is part of the Mediterranean Migration Network management team with more than 380 members.

Rumyana Shalamanova

Rumyana Shalamanova is the Chair person of Know and Can Association. She has about 30 years’ experience as a teacher and trainer in formal and non - formal education. Rumyana has two Master Degrees - in Chemical engineering and pedagogy. She is a certified trainer in soft skills and Forum Theater. She has attended numerous educational events at national and international level as a speaker and participant.

ANA RITA FERREIRA

Rita holds a degree in History and a Master’s in Teaching History. She has experience working with European Projects in various areas. However, her focus is mainly directed at projects with a social strand, often working towards the empowerment of disregarded minorities, such as the refugees and migrants. Being a trained teacher, she also has experience in working with adolescents, often coming from challenging social and economic backgrounds.

Chrysanna Pavlou

Chrysanna Pavlou is a social scientist. She has over 10 years of professional experience in increasingly responsible roles in Administration-Management, Human Resources and Project Management. In her most recent position, she is a Project Manager for KMOP supervising and ensuring smooth implementation of EU Funded projects (Erasmus +, REC, EuropeAid) with a specialization in the field of Gender Identities and Education.

Giorgos Triantafyllou is a political scientist and researcher with long experience in the management of EU - funded projects (AMIF, REC, Europe Aid, Erasmus+). He is currently working as Project Manager at KMOP, being responsible for projects on migration and education.

Mariagiovanna Carpinteri is currently working in the School Unit of CESIE as a project manager and researcher. Her Master’s degree in ‘Human Rights and Conflict Management’ at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Annaprovidedher with comprehensive knowledge on existing tools for human rights’ protection in the sector of education, Gender, Youth, Migration, and environmental sustainability.
